J and T were married on June 15, 2019 at the always beautiful Secret Garden at Woodbridge Ponds. The couple chose a stunning deep lavender and cream colour palette which was a lot of fun to work with. Deep and soft purple flowers are not the tones that we usually get to create with, so we were a little excited when we heard J + T's vision!
The bride's bouquet had local white peonies, lavender spray roses, white delphinium, mauve santini spray mums, purple stocks, purple and white lisianthus, with a mixture of eucalyptus gunni and silver dollar eucalyptus.
We also created the bridesmaid bouquets using local, white, fluffy flowers.
These bouquets had peonies, astilbe, and roses with eucalyptus.
By keeping the bridesmaids bouquets all white, this helped the bride's deeper coloured bouquet pop when standing next to her bridesmaids.
The Secret Garden was the perfect venue for their fairytale wedding.
This venue is full of large tropical plants, white draping and magical details everywhere you look.
Our favourite way of adding in pops of colour to your wedding is through your flowers!
Even if your flowers have a subtle shade variation on your favourite colours, it can add a lot of depth to your arrangements that you can't achieve if you simply choose one or two shades.
We highly recommend adding in colour and different shades if you want a more dynamic look for your flowers!
T chose to add special details to her bouquet by attaching photo frames to the ribbon.
This is a beautiful way to honour those who are special to you! There are a lot of creative ways that you can make your day extra special and unique to who you are as a couple, and this is by far one of our favourite ways.
As always, we loved having the opportunity to create the floral pieces for this couple as they celebrated their love and commitment to one another. There is something so special about being a part of something as precious as love and we are honoured that J and T chose us to create for them!
