My dear friends, Megan and Steven, said “I do” this past September at the Fraser River Lodge in Agassiz.
I was extremely honoured to be a part of their wedding as a bridesmaid, as well as their florist for their special day!
At Floral Support, it is our goal to fill our weddings and wholesale orders with as many local flowers and greenery as possible. My wonderful friend knew this about us, as well as my excitement to create larger weddings with all local products, so she gave me the okay to create with all local flowers AND greenery!
This wedding had a bride bouquet, 6 bridesmaids bouquets, 10 boutonnieres, 12 centrepieces, 6 large ceremony arrangements and more, all created with flowers from the lower mainland and Vancouver Island, as well as greenery grown in BC.
We used the following local flowers and greenery to create each and every arrangement:
Cream roses Blush pink spray roses Burgundy dahlias Burgundy spraymums Smoke bush Crimson snap dragons Dusty pink lisianthus Hellebores Green and red hydrangeas Euphorbia Boxwood And more!
You may be wondering why is it so important to us that we try to have all local products in our weddings?
The photo below shows why having local flowers in our wedding work is so important to us:
In this photo I see a gorgeous bride, happy newly weds, family and friends celebrating, and some pretty flowers
Ravenek Greenhouses Eurosa Farms Apko Nurseries Mt Newton Floral Quik Farms Dutch Herritage Greenhouse Blue Magic Greenhouse And more!
Because of our amazing growers, we were able to keep Megan and Stevens floral dollars local for their wedding. I love saying that we are a local company, buying locally!
If this sounds like something you love or are passionate about, I think we would make a perfect fit. Message us to book your consultation!
Congratulations Megan and Steven, your wedding was absolutely stunning and I love you guys!
